The actress won the Satellite Award for 2006 for the best supporting character in a mini-series, series or motion film made by television, for her role as Rita Bennett in Dexter. Her role was on the TV show No Ordinary Family, which began airing on May 13, through its demise. Her most famous characters were Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
