Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on September 21 1965 in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines who was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. She completed her studies in theater and television production. But it was not until she moved in Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd really learned anything in the field of comedy. Her teacher at first was Lisa Kudrow. She also learned how to write comedy and come up with sketches. The experience has helped her prepare for her role as Larry David's wife in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The actress is at ease since the dialog in this show is improvised. It is still a regular at the Groundlings Theater when she has the opportunity. Cheryl Cheryl Cheryl
